I'm here to loosely discuss the contents of the next upcoming update and show a sneakpeek as well!

As of right now, the pack is lacking in certain regards, and the update aims to fix some small issues, but, mostly, bring life and Christmas cheer to celebrate the upcoming Christmas!

For tiles and tilesets you can expect:

Grass tiles

Presents (act like chests, similar to Earthbound)

Snowy footprints

2x1 and 2x2 slightly smaller trees

fallen logs and branches, both in and out of water

Santa Clause's sled!

And, of course, a mildly big decorated Christmas tree.

But the biggest add will be fully animated characters! 

Walking in all 4 cardinal directions and having an idle for each one, you can expect to see moving on your screen:

Deers, with and without horns, (ft Rudolph red nosed variant)

Fox, white and orange variants.

Santa Claus himself!

A few helper Elves variants!

Robin bird with a few colored variants!

And probably not much else honestly.

The penguin will also have their animations updated. 

As of right now, there aren't really any characters in the pack, this means that the actual artstyle isn't really set in stone. I'm currently in the process of trying out different styles, options and, most importantly, collect feedback and opinions. 

This will probably be the longest part of development for this new update, since in order to receive the feedback, I must wait for people to actually answer. After that will come animating which will probably take a while, and then I'll finish by adding the new tiles.

If everything goes right, we can expect a release by the 20th of this month. Even if the tiles are not finished by then, I'll still push the update and shift the unfinished tiles in the next update even more, which will focus on basic interiors!
